No dia nove de julho, a cantora Arihara Kanna se retirou do °C-utee do Hello! Project. Arihara, que participou de um concurso e se tornou uma integrante do Hello! Pro Egg em 2004, teve seu major debut em janeiro de 2006 como uma integrante °C-ute. Ariharaestava de licença desde fevereiro por causa de um tratamento para uma joanete, o que resultou na sua falta no Hello! Project e nas atividades mais recentes do °C-ute.
O Hello! Project expressou seu pesar em relação ao anúncio repentino em relação ao afastamento de Arihara e pede para que os fãs de °C-ute continuem a apoiar o grupo.
